"I've been doing a lot of craft work since primary school, but then I have never thought of having it in a proper way...having a label..."
Still in her early 20s, this beautiful go-getter has climb her way to success with her talent of sewing! Faradiba Anuar is the owner and founder of the fast selling customized craft line - FREOW CRAFTS.
Not like many other designers who aspire to design garments and coutures, Fara turns her sewing talent to something a little different from the rest. Her devotion towards the art of craft work has made her accomplish a very good business line on her own, designing and customizing almost every product from cushions to notebooks and even laptop sleeves.
"It actually started randomly...very randomly..."
Her plan of sewing a customized pillow for her own personal keeping has changed her luck after uploading the photo of her and her very first customized pillow (with cut out letters, "FREOW" sewn on it) on her Facebook page. Since then, Fara was bombarded with requests from her friends to do the same thing for them and brought her to where she is now - owning a proper business line with overflowing number of customers each week. You go girl!
"Frankly speaking it (starting the business) was quite hard because at the same time... I have to struggle with my academic schedule...it's quiet a race..."
Fara is currently taking TESL in Universiti Teknologi Mara. Though public universities are well known for having tight academic schedules, being as optimistic as she is, Fara has never given up on her commitment towards Freow Crafts by managing her daily routine and academic schedule well enough to excel in her studies while keeping the orders flowing smoothly at the same time.
"It's the support from family and friends that actually make me feel like, 'I should just take it easy'...because at the end of the day, nothing comes easy..."
FUTURE PLANS
"I separate things into certain period...longer term and shorter term...something I know I could achieve in a shorter term and something I could achieve as well, but in a longer term..."
Fara's maturity in thinking and managing her business has really helped her come this far. Her short term planning includes opening up a headquarter for her line, a working studio where she could have a group of people who can help her in producing the goods as well as running the business smoothly.
"I'm actually into home furnishing..."
Fara's longer term is to produce her own line of bed sheet and anything else that has to do with home furnishing under the Freow Crafts label.

"I think it's important for all the girls and the women out there to know their special abilities...hunt deeper and try to look for the unique qualities that you have ...there's a reason why God actually gave us these certain abilities...instead of just knowing that you can sing, why don't you do something about it? Make use of it because we'll never know if one day we'll lose this ability that we have...before we lose it, just appreciate it..."
