1) Once you have all of them ready, find your very own workspace and lay the newspapers or towels on the floor.

3) Now it’s time to make your dye by mixing several drops of food coloring with enough gel to cover the desired amount of hair. Try white conditioner or aloe vera gel. Do note that the more food coloring you use, the darker the shade of color created.
4) Mix them well and add a few drops of water if the gel appears to be too thick.
5) Next, separate the strands of hair you want to dye from the rest of your hair by tying or clipping them up.
6) Now, apply the dye mix to each strand of hair with a comb or toothbrush and wrap each strand with aluminium foil and tape it to the plastic bag. The purpose of doing this is to avoid being all messy.
7) Leave the product in your hair for 3-5 hours if you have a dark hair and wanted a deeper color. If you have lighter hair, say, blonde, 30 minutes will be enough.
8) Finally, wash the dye out in the shower with lukewarm water with NO SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER! You sure don’t want to waste your effort by washing those dyes away!
9) After your shower, blow-dry your hair on a low setting. To allow your color to set entirely, avoid washing your hair for another day or two.
Now you have the easy ways for a DIY dip dye, what are you waiting for? You don’t have to worry about is the usage of food coloring dye because they are safe for your hair. Now, chop-chop, go try it out!
