She has been referred in various terminologies ever since she was born until the end of her life. She is born as a baby girl, mature as a lady, hold the hand of her husband as a wife, honored as a mother and when the time passes by she dies as a widow or maiden. The life cycle of a woman has been explained in one sentence.
How much pain and sorrow can one woman take at times? How many out there are really aware of the things happening around them? Even though the world has tremendously changed in every aspect but why when it comes to “women”, there are still discriminations every where? Until when women have to be the obedient child of the family and until when women have to listen to everyone’s thoughts? All over the world, people are talking about human rights, I agree the importance of human rights in daily life but when can we question about women's rights? When can women obtain independence throughout the world? When will the day come?
I wish I have the answer for all those questions but unfortunately, the world is still a small place for me to find an answer for that. Some of us are still lucky to be in the nation where women are treated equally from men but there are a few countries in the world which are treating women worse than anything else.
The issue is only ONE---woman! All we ask is just for a freedom to walk alone without the support of any men on earth. When we are small, our dad will lead our path, when we are in teenage years, mothers will take most of the responsibilities to advice us and when the time comes, we have to get married regardless if we love the man or not, we should get married in a particular age (21 to 25) just to escape from the critics of the society. Till when we have to depend on others?
Women are known for their mental ability and their physical weakness. But, let’s look at the bright side of the mental ability. Our brain controls the body; in fact brain plays the significant role. If women are gifted with a great mental ability, why should they worry about the physical? Once in a life time, have you really talked to yourself? Have you really thought of what you actually want in your life? Why would others rule your life? Why are women always in the second column in the application form? Why are the ranges of salary differentiate between men and women? Why is the percentage of single mothers higher than single fathers?
Every woman has been beautifully carved since she was small and she is the one destined to be a mother whom carries her child in womb. It’s really saddening when the women are not equally treated.
I would say, even when the world won’t treat us equally, we all should bear in mind that, being a woman is a gift as we have the ability to bleed without getting injured and make the boneless into hard, and a woman can live WITHOUT a man but a man needs a partner always!
