MELAWATI GARAGE SALE

WoM was fortunate to be given the opportunity to join the Melawati Garage Sale last weekend
(31st March & 1st April 2012) when one of our WoM's angels, Zarina
(See her previous appearance as a WoM's rep at Amber Chia's birthday party here),

decided to organize a garage sale with her friends at Taman Melawati.
"About the garage sale, the idea came up when my friend and I (Nurul Aisyah) went to a garage sale in Shah Alam with our boyfriends. Since we have so many unused & pre-loved clothes at home and we're both on our holiday now, we decided to do a garage sale!" - Zarina Zainal Alam.
Held at Nurul Aisyah's house in Taman Melawati, they began asking their friends via BBM, Facebook and Twitter if any of them would like to sell their stuff at the garage sale. From there, the number of items to sell started growing and more people became interested about the event, including WoM!
The garage sale proved to be a huge hit with over 200 Facebookers after having clicked the "Going" button at the event page!
During the two-day event, WoM also took the chance to host a casting session and audition in search for a host/MC and volunteer models for our anniversary celebration that's coming up soon (see here for more details on WoM's anniversary event).
