Aren't you bored going to the same place and doing the same thing with your partner every weekend?
Well it’s time to stop those typical dates once and for all! No more going to the same mall and burning a hole in your wallet on 3D movies and expensive dinners again because here are some cool tips for you to try this weekend with your loved ones!
#1 Enjoy The Nature
Living in the city does not mean that we're out of green. Climb up to Broga Hills and enjoy the fresh air – perfect place to be romantic! Or just head down to Sungai Congkak, the best waterfall in Kuala Lumpur.
Animal lover? Zoo Negara is always there to welcome you lovebirds!
#2 Be a Tourist
Leave the malls this weekend. Go to somewhere you have never been before in the city. You can try shopping in Jalan Masjid India, grab some lunch in Petaling Street, and walk along the ancient buildings in Kuala Lumpur. It will be fun to do that with your partner and will help you see the city through a different lens.
#3 Drop Some Sweat!
We bet you guys have never done any sports together before. If you think that badminton, jogging and volleyball are too old for you: Paintball, rollerblading, bicycle riding, rock-climbing and so much more can be done to escape the ordinary weekend dates.
#4 Adopt New Hobbies!
It is really fun to do your hobbies together, do paintings and crafts together instead of sitting in front of the screen wondering what to do next. Teach your boyfriend how to knit a sweater, in return he will teach you how to shred the guitar! Yes, cooking is fun too!
#5 Volunteer, Anyone?
Think Brangelina! There’s nothing more sincere and romantic than spending time together as volunteers in the orphanage or elderly homes. You may think it’s something bizarre to do but these kinds of challenges are better done together with your loved ones in order to value the meaning of life and relationship. You may also volunteer at our National Zoo or SPCA if treating animals is your interest!
