The Beautiful Nadiey Hana

Beautiful, intelligent and optimistic, life has given Nadiey Hana
another beautiful meaning
after being voted as one of the finalists of
Malaysia's renowned reality show, "Dewi Remaja 2010".

Check out WoM's exclusive interview session with Nadiey here:

WoM: How does being one of the finalists of Dewi Remaja 2010 impact your life nowadays?

Nadiey: Alhamdulillah... being chosen as one of the finalists in that competition, people began noticing my presence and that has made me become more disciplined in terms of how I carry my name and my family's privacy as well as grooming myself to look better for the public.

WoM: What made you decide to participate in Dewi Remaja? Was there anyone in particular who encouraged you to join the competition?

Nadiey: Oh actually, my mom asked me to join the contest. I felt nervous during the first stage because there was a lot of beautiful women entering this contest. But I kept my confidence high and believed in myself. The reason I decided to enter this contest is because I want to be a good role model for the girls who aspire to be in this industry.

WoM: Being in a reality show with so many beautiful women competing for the title, how do you deal with all the pressure and intensity throughout the show?

Nadiey: I got myself prepared mentally and physically in this competition. Though the feeling of nervousness was always there, it is important for me to get the blessing and support from my family. They were the ones who gave me good advices and motivation throughout the whole journey in Dewi Remaja. Praying to Allah helped me calm my nerves.

WoM: People tend to judge a book by it's cover, name one thing about you that not many people would expect coming out from you.

Nadiey: Before the people get to know me, they tend to think that I'm an arrogant person, but actually I'm very friendly and I laugh so easily it's even harder for me to stop! Some may be surprised that I'm a sportswoman, I've been a state hockey player in Johor before and I'm still playing for my campus at UiTM Johor.

WoM: Lastly, is there any personal message/advice that you would like to share with all the young women out there in Malaysia?

Nadiey: To those who would like to be involved in the entertainment industry, just go for it. Be confident and most importantly, be yourself. Always be sincere and have faith.
