Kuala Lumpur, 30 June 2014 – In conjunction with the upcoming noble month of Ramadhan, Malaysia’s #1 Germ Protection Brand*, Dettol, will once again invite households to reach out to the less fortunate children through its nationwide charity campaign. Trusted by families and medical professionals for generations, Dettol aims to build healthier lives and happier homes by providing the next level of protection against germs and bacteria. One of the key drivers to achieve this goal is Dettol’s continuous role in educating children and households on good hygiene practices via school programs and on-ground activities. This year, Dettol aims to raise RM 100,000 for children’s health and education through their Dettol ‘Protecting the Future’ campaign.
“Dettol ‘Protecting the Future’ campaign will be conducted in the month of Ramadhan to celebrate the season of giving and charity towards this cause. Through this campaign, households can contribute to the less fortunate children by purchasing Dettol products** as Dettol pledges to donate RM 1 to children charity bodies for every RM 20 worth of Dettol products purchased at any participating retailers,” said Abhishek Chuckarbutty, Marketing Director of Reckitt Benckiser Malaysia and Singapore.
“We aim to raise RM 100,000 over the course of the campaign, which will be donated to Save The Children and Dignity For Children Foundation to provide healthier lives and education to the less fortunate children. We hope the public will join in this effort in contributing to the future of our children,” shared further by Abhishek.
