This beautiful Bidayuh lady from Sarawak won the hearts of the judges after
the last two dives during the final round of women's 10m platform diving in London.
She is the first female Malaysian olympian to win a medal at any Olympic Games,
and the first Malaysian to win an Olympic medal in any sport other than Badminton.

Heidi Gan
(16th Position - Women's 10km Marathon Swim)
Swam in her first Olympic ever, Heidi, who is based in Perth, Australia is
one of the two Asians to have finished the race.
Heidi was timed at 2'00:45.0 in the five lap open swimming race.

Fatehah Mustapa
(Ranked 5th in Repechage Round - Women's Keirin)
The first ever woman cyclist to represent Malaysia in an Olympics event.
Aged as young as only 21, triumphed a great performance in the Caracol de Pista event in Medellin, Colombia,
which she finished third in the 200m sprint and fourth in the scratch race.

Nur Suryani Mohd Taibi
(Ranked 34th in Qualification Round - Women's 10m Air Rifle)
Malaysia's dedicated and well respected sports shooter, this Perak born lady received an overwhelming respect for competing in the Olympics while being 8 months pregnant.

Nurul Syafiqah Hashim
(Placed 60th in Ranking Round - Women's Individual Archery)
The sole Malaysian woman archer in Olympics. This 5 foot 7 lady is only 18!
In the first round, Nurul Syafiqah was up against Taiwan archer Lin Chia En and scored 2-6, in which Lin manages to beat her by a few points.

Noraseela Mohd Khalid
(Finished 9th in Heat Round - Women's 400m Hurdles)
Specializes in the 400m hurdles, Noraseela's personal best time is 56.02 seconds, achieved in year 2006 in Regensburg.
This fast runner was a gold medalist in the Southeast Asian Games in 2003, 2009 and 2011.

This Penang native standing at 166cm tall, is Malaysia's current highest ranked

Goh Liu Ying
(Ranked 4th in Group Stage - Mixed Doubles Badminton)
Also standing at 166cm tall, this 23 years old professional badminton player had teamed up with partner Chan Peng Soon in the Olympics this year.
Liu Ying was ranked 1st with partner Ng Hui Lin during the women's doubles in the Malaysian National Badminton Championships 2008/2009.

Cheong Jun Hoong
(Ranked 20th in Preliminary Round - 3m Springboard Diving)
This cute-faced diver was a broze medalist in the
Women's 1m Springboard final in the 16th Asian Games Guangzhou 2010.
In the Olympics this year, she has also teamed up with Olympics 2012 bronze medalist Pandelela Rinong in women's synchronized 3m springboard.

Ng Yan Yee
(Ranked 24th in Preliminary Round - 3m Springboard Diving)
Yan Yee won silver medal in the women's synchronized 3m springboard diving final alongside partner Nun Yee Leong in the 16th Asian Games Guangzhou 2010.

Traisy Vivien Tukiet
(Ranked 22nd in Preliminary Round - 10m Platform Diving)
Standing at 4 foot 7 tall, this petite Sarawakian is only 18! Traisy was a finalist in both Asian Games Guangzhou and Commonwealth Games New Delhi.

Leong Mun Yee
(Ranked 7th in 10m Syncronized Platform Diving)
Mun Yee competed in the 10 m platform synchronized event with her partner Pandelela Rinong. She has participated in three other Olympic Games: 2000 (3m springboard, 10m platform), 2004 (3m springboard, 10m platform) and 2008 (3m springboard, 3m springboard synchronized).
