As we reach upon the best days to come this 2012, our favourite international model, Amber Chia, has already relived her best moments just before the new year. This long-legged beauty celebrated her 30th birthday last month with a touch of glam and entrepreneurship with the grand opening of Amber Chia Academy Berjaya Times Square, KL.
We have sent out one of our darling WoM's Angels, Zarina Zainal Alam to represent us on that special day. So here's how the event went down...

December 8th 2011: Ever since the inception of Amber Chia Academy (ACA) back in August 2010, principal Amber Chia's resolution for the year 2011 is to establish three academies in total by year end. Come today, not only has she fulfilled the objective that she has set out to achieve, she also exceeded expectations with the grand opening of ACA Berjaya Times Square (BTS), KL.
ACA BTS is the addition to three other academies that have been present at Jaya One (Petaling Jaya), Malacca, and Penang. With that said, Chia can now silence the doubts of the critics and officially seal her reputation as a bona fide entrepreneur.
Making it an even more joyous occasion, the grand opening is also in conjunction with Chia's 30th birthday celebration, which falls on December l4th.

Being the first ACA with a noticeably more upscale and futuristic design, its luxurious exterior and interior is inspired by world class modeling and makeup studios. ACA BTS will be in operations every day of the week and thus, weekend courses and classes will be offered. Additionally, besides the existing modeling, makeup, and photography courses, brand new modeling courses specifically for kids as well as beauty courses on nail art will be introduced from 2012 onwards.
On top of that, extra-curricular workshops and activities on the performing arts - acting, singing, and dancing in particular , will also be made available in the near future!
In a grand opening hosted by Chia, catwalk guru Benjamin Toong, as well as Miss Malaysia World 2010/2011 Nadia Heng, guests were treated to a fashion show and also a makeup showcase by graduates as well as current students of ACA. Notable alumni present included the recent winners of the Asia Model Festival Awards New Face Model Search 2011 - Wafa Johanna de Korte ond Soo Xu Ze; Jaspal Fashionista 2011 - Kurt Chin; Eco International Model 2011 - Amanda Cheng; Amaze International Model 2011 - Sheena Liam; Mister Ubermen Malaysia 2011 - Leon Long; Miss Malaysia Model of the World 2011 - Angelica Yap; and Roxy Model 2011 - Cheryll Ho; just to name a few.
