Founded by three young entrepreneurs - Ira, Lyn and Xhaf, this online fashion brand has proven to be a huge hit after receiving huge popularity in their Facebook page within just a few months after the foundation.
WoM had the opportunity to get up close and personal with two of the founders, Lyn and Xhaf regarding with their fashion line...

| (Left to right: Lyn, Xhaf) WoM: Tell us a little bit about Ralaglitz. When and how did your team start the business together? Ralaglitz: Ralaglitz started this year in January. Since we love and adore fashion so much, we finally decided to have our own blogshop so that we can share the latest fashion trends and style as well as encouraging other people to wear it too, with reasonable prices for both women and men! WoM: Why do you choose the name “Ralaglitz” as the brand name? Ralaglitz: The name “Ralaglitz” is actually a combination of the name Ira (RA) and Lyn (LA). In general, the word Glitz simply means glitter, glamor and everything that revolves around it. Little did we know that the word glitz also symbolizes ‘showing’ or ’display’, so by this we want to share what Ralaglitz has to offer for the fashion lovers everywhere. WoM: What are the future plans for Ralaglitz? Ralaglitz: We have a few plans for Ralaglitz, in the future we will be more exposed in fashion and closely following generational fashion trends as well our customers' own preferences. Gradually, we will be focusing on our clothing quality and style. Our main goal is to build a solid customer base and mailing list. Furthermore, we would like to see the growth of our business with an increase in product lines. We will also continue to expand our blogshop by giving a bigger variety of clothing choices to our customers and participate in fashion exhibitions. There is a high possibility that we will be bringing clothes from Europe one day since Ira is staying in Russia until she finishes her studies. WoM: What is your opinion about the fashion industry in Malaysia? Ralaglitz: Malaysia’s fashion industry has becoming to spread gradually, I think Malaysia's fashion industry has its “class” and we are proud of it. WoM: Lastly, is there any personal message or advice that you would like to share with all the young women out there in Malaysia? Ralaglitz: Nothing is impossible if you have passion in whatever you want to do. Don’ t worry about failure as it is just another learning step for us to be better. So continue to support and contribute to the Malaysian fashion industry as it is there for all of you.  |
